Build a website everyone can use

Windrow is a website builder with accessibility built into the foundation. Every page is checked before it goes live, so no one who visits your site gets left at the door.

Start building

Accessibility, enforced at the source

Most website builders will happily let you publish a site that some people cannot use. Windrow will not. Every page is measured against WCAG 2.2 AA by our own publish gate, and it stays in draft until it passes. The page you are reading went through the very same gate.

Why this matters

What makes Windrow different

How it works

1. Start from a template

Begin with an accessible starter site instead of a blank canvas.

2. Build with blocks

Compose each page from ready-made blocks that are accessible before you touch them.

3. Publish when it passes

Hit publish. Windrow checks the page and puts it live only when it meets the standard.

Who it is for

Nonprofits

Reach everyone you serve, and meet the accessibility standards funders increasingly require.

Local government

Public services that are accessible to every resident, in practice and not just on paper.

Schools and programs

Sites that work for every student, family, and staff member.

Clinics and practices

Patient-facing sites where no one can afford to be left out.

Agencies

Run accessible sites for all of the above, with white-label branding and reseller billing.

Accessibility is not a feature you add at the end. It is the soil the whole site grows from.

Common questions

What is the publish gate?

The publish gate is an automated accessibility check that runs every time you publish. It tests the page against WCAG 2.2 AA. If the page fails, it stays in draft and Windrow shows you exactly what to fix.

Which accessibility standard does Windrow use?

Windrow checks against WCAG 2.2 at level AA, the standard most widely referenced by accessibility law and procurement policy in the US and abroad.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Paid plans support a custom domain with managed certificates. The free plan publishes on a Windrow address.

Do I own my content?

Yes. You can export your entire site as static HTML at any time and host it anywhere. Your content is never locked in.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan lets you build and publish one accessible site with a small Windrow footer. Upgrade when you need a custom domain or more sites.

Do you offer nonprofit or education pricing?

Yes. Dedicated nonprofit and education rates are available. Reach out and we will get you set up.
